TWENTY-EIGHT
Only by the grace of God could Sister Ama have truly forgiven her husband and her friend.
She had approached him claiming she had forgiven them and that she was ready to re-join the prayers. Pastor Sam did not need to ask her if she had truly forgiven. It was written all over her. The anger and bitterness that darkened her countenance had been replaced with peace that shone through her eyes.
She joined in the three days intensive midnight prayers that the Lord instructed.
According to the instruction, Pastor Sam was to select a few intercessors, and they were all to pray simultaneously at a specific time of the night in spite of being in the different locations.
It had been an intensive six days of midnight prayers. Tonight, was the final night.
Pastor Sam dialled Sister Ama’s number. She picked on the first ring.
“Hello Sister Ama.”
“Hello sir” she sounded wide awake. He admired her tenacity.
“We begin in ten minutes.”
“Alright sir.”
The moment he ended the call, the intercessor’s call came in. Pastor Sam picked it.
“Good evening, Pastor.”
“Good evening, Mensah.”
“I just called the second intercessor. We are ready sir.”
“Great. Thank you, Mensah,”
The call ended. Pastor Sam was immensely grateful for the gift of men.
He dropped his phone and proceeded to the prayer room.

TWENTY-NINE
Pastor Sam was praying aggressively, his voice echoed loudly. The entire prayer room seemed electrified; Pastor Sam felt the intense charge in the atmosphere.
Instantly he was transported.
Pastor Sam found himself in Aguga’s shrine.
Aguga stood some steps away, his back turned. Pastor Sam could hear Aguga chanting loudly. In one breath he shouted fiercely.
“Kofi the son of Boadi, from the lineage of Appiah! I summon your spirit here now!!”
There was a brief silence,
“How dare you refuse my call?!!” Aguga asked clearly furious.
“He disappointed the vices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us” Pastor Sam declared boldly.
Aguga turned to face Pastor Sam irritated at the intrusion.
“I waited so long for this chance to take down Kofi Boadi and now you want to stand in my way…? I will crush you alongside him!!!” Aguga said eyes blazing with anger.
With a laughter that depicted confidence, Pastor Sam spoke, “You are the one to be crushed, because you are standing in the way of the One who has never lost a battle to anyone. The Lord Mighty in battle.”
“The wages of sin is death. Kofi is a sinner; God has turned His back on Him!”
“For if we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from unrighteousness. Let me update you, Kofi has confessed his sins and has found mercy in the sight of God. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus and Ephesians 1:7 says In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.”
Aguga began to chant desperately, a leaf in his mouth.
“Kofi son of Boadi, from the lineage of Appiah! Your lineage made a covenant with me!” Aguga hurriedly pulled out a white cloth with the word SEALED, written in blood.
“This is the blood of Akosua Appiah used to seal that covenant… Kofi Boadi you belong to Akosua’s lineage, therefore you are a part of this covenant. For this reason, I demand that your spirit respond to my call of death.”
“Kofi the son of Boadi from the lineage of Appiah!!!” Aguga called loudly
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and He took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross” Pastor Sam countered boldly.
To Aguga’s utmost shock, the word SEALED become immediately wiped off the cloth.
Suddenly Ama’s voice rang into the shrine,
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
The shrine tilted slightly. The great Aguga was losing composure. Aguga tried to compose himself again.
“What is happening? Kofi, I can never let you go!!!!!!” Aguga exclaimed and began to chant loudly.
A voice of one of the intercessors filtered into the shrine.
“Colossians 12-13 says “Giving thanks unto the father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light”
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” Pastor Sam completed.
Ama and the intercessors were connected in the spirit at the very moment, that explained their voices filtering in at intervals. Undoubtedly victory was sure for them.
Aguga became even more desperate and was not going down without a fight, an intense one at that.
“Kofi son of Boadi. You must respond this third time. KOFI SON OF BOADI!!!
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name” Pastor Sam quoted boldly.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” Ama’s voice filtered in loudly.
“And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!” Pastor Sam declared with authority.
At once the entire shrine began to shake, to the very foundation. The hanging calabashes begun to drop, Aguga fell writhing in pain
Pastor Sam found himself back to his prayer room. Joy unspeakable bubbled in his heart at the victory.
“Thank you, Jesus,”
Songs of worship to God burst forth from his heart.

Kofi felt it, a strong force invaded the room. The curtains ruffled, and the medicine bottles rattled on the stool.
The strong force stronger than any he had ever experienced seized him. Pain shot through his body, he literally felt his body receiving life, like a machine roaring back to life, Kofi felt what he had not felt in weeks. He felt alive.
With little effort he stood to his feet, that simple action had seemed impossible weeks ago.
His eyes landed on Ama, sleeping, her back to him.
Kofi tapped her gently; she stirred and woke up. She was very shocked to see him standing on his own.
She recovered quickly from the shock and screamed in excitement at his healing.
“Praise the Lord!!!”
“Oh God, I’m humbled by your mercy, thank you Jesus.” Kofi said.
He knelt before his wife, head bowed in shame.
“Ama, Pls forgive me, I have caused you so much pain. I am deeply sorry.” He pleaded tears flowing down his face.
“The grace of God was sufficient for me to forgive you. I have forgiven you.
She had this look of a broken trust in need of enough time to repair, and he felt remorseful.
He vowed in his heart to make it up to her, even if he had to spend the rest of his life doing so.

“Pastor Sam, despite the fact that I brought God’s judgement upon myself. You and your wife fought tirelessly to save my life and my marriage from the snare of the fowler. I can’t thank you both enough” Minister Kofi said full of gratitude.
“All glory to God Almighty.” Pastor Sam said.
Pastor Sam had been honoured when the couple had insisted on treating himself and his wife to dinner.
The treat was top notch.
Thinking back at the time when the battle was fierce, Pastor Sam could boldly say that the deliverance of Minister Kofi was miraculous, and the gradual restoration of love and trust happening between the couple was courtesy of God alone.
Pastor Sam smiled as he caught a glimpse of the love that shone in the eyes of the couple as they gazed at each other. The devil had waged war and he had been defeated totally. The Lord had made sure it all ended in praise.
