A Rat Taught me a Lesson minutes ago…
Let me tell you how it started.
For some days now, I have been staying up during the night and it has given the opportunity of knowing somethings that happen while I and my roomie sleep at night. One of such Is the fact that at past 12 a Rat enters our room and in 30 mins Max it finds its way out.
After observing, I concluded it was because we Bolt the door alone and that we don’t lock with key so the next night, I locked the door with a key.
I waited. And Lo, the rat Came.
It recognised that an extra force has been added but it strived and entered..
It was not convenient but it entered. And found its way out again.
Tonight, I was more determined to stop it from coming so I bolted the door, locked the door with key and blocked all the space with a rag.
While I was doing my cross over prayer, I heard movements at the door signalling the presence of the Rat.
“You won’t enter today, you have dared me…” I thought. I heard it struggling and struggling. The Stubborn Rat did not give up ooo.. With my eyes, I saw it entered. It saw me too.. It ran..
I’m waiting for how it will leave this room tonight… But this Rat has taught me something. NOT GIVING UP..
It’s a New Day..
A New Month.
