Hello everyone and how have you been?
I know it’s been a very long time and I owe you a lot of explanations.
Even though a lot has happened since the last time the blog was active with write-ups and all, the bottom line is that I have been busy with my school work, my final year project and most of all my role as an executive member of my Fellowship.
I love writing and blogging and of course I love you all but I had to just take sometime off.
You may have noticed this is a new site because of the name and wondering what went wrong.
Here is what happened;
I slept on the night of July 25th year 2021 with a news that almost tore me apart:
I had lost my previous site www.peculiarinspiro.com to God knows who.
Just pretend you didn’t see that for now and Stay with me.😊
For those who don’t know about peculiarinspiro.com, It is my self-hosted blogging site that started running from June last year and that has been my tool to talk about Jesus through Stories to a larger world.
Also, if you follow my posts closely, it wouldn’t miss your eye that it has been long I updated the blog. I updated it last with a story “CHOICES” on April 6 2021.
Two months after that, my domain name and hosting plan got expired but due to finance and the fact that I was caught up with so many activities I couldn’t renew the plan.😔 I actually had the hope that I still had about a month window period. Little did I know that someone was waiting for that moment.😒 He hijacked my domain name and parked the site.😣
When I learnt of what had happened, I was confused and didn’t know what to do.
Thank God for technology, I did some online detective search of my own 😁 and eventually got his details and the site that I used gave me an option of contacting him with them acting as a broker in which he could decide to reply me or not.
That night, I wasn’t so balanced and coordinated to put words together plus I don’t even know what kind of person he is.🤦♀️
I had an examination the following day so I was trying to make sure I didn’t stress myself.🙂
I couldn’t cry out. I couldn’t pray. ‘My Spirit man sat quietly before God.’🙇♀️
However, I am grateful to God for something that happened when I first hosted peculiarinspiro.com and concurrently so it was easy for me to think of another version of my domain name.
I’m grateful to my host provider who God used for me to accept what had happened and he encouraged me to take a quick action. He hinted me on the best method to adopt and even guided me on how to go about it.
The fact that I had sometimes used “Peculiar-Inspiro” with the hyphen in-between made it easy to decide to go with this which I had in mind from the onset.
Thankfully, i am the only person with that name ‘peculiarinspiro’ so I was able to purchase the only available version of the name and all my contents and configurations were transferred to it by my host provider. All precautions were also taken so that this loss will not happen again.
I guess the person eventually realized I had given up on that site so he unparked it. I visited my precious blog sometimes ago and I was shocked and tear-moved to see what it had been converted to.😢 The site was even spamming my phone that I had to block it totally off my device. Well, we move.🙌
